AK Party spokesman Çelik strongly reacts to Israeli Minister
AK Party Deputy Chairman and Party spokesman Omer Celik has strongly condemned Israel Foreign Minister Gideon Saar’s recent comments about Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Celik stated that the words of Saar, who is part of Netanyahu’s government, are disrespectful and unwarranted. He described the Israeli government as a “genocide regime” that surpasses even the atrocities committed by the Nazis.
He emphasized that President Erdogan is a voice for humanity and stands against all forms of oppression and injustice. Celik noted that those who target the President are enemies of humanity and pose a threat to global peace.
In response to Saar’s comments, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a stern rebuke, calling the Israeli Foreign Minister’s remarks “arrogant” and baseless. The Ministry rejected the allegations as part of an attempt to cover up the crimes committed by Netanyahu and his allies.
The Ministry warned that Israel’s propaganda activities only serve to deepen concerns about potential acts of genocide in Gaza and other regions. Turkey reaffirmed its commitment to standing with innocent civilians targeted by Israel and defending their rights.
Saar had made disparaging remarks about President Erdogan on social media, prompting a backlash from Turkish officials. The escalating tensions between Turkey and Israel underscore the ongoing challenges in the region.
