Alleged Female Leader of FETÖ Arrested
A woman suspected of being involved in public disorder was arrested by teams from the Financial Crimes Department during routine inspections at a metro station. The interrogation revealed that the suspect was wanted for being a member of FETÖ (Fethullahist Terrorist Organization) and was responsible for the organization’s women’s group.
Upon searching the suspect, a fake ID belonging to another person and a phone line registered to a foreign national were confiscated. The suspect was taken to the courthouse after being processed at the police station, where she was subsequently arrested.
