
Alper Gezeravcı’s Experimental Photo Collection

Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı has made his mark by embarking on a space journey with the Dragon capsule on January 19th. This capsule carrying Gezeravcı and his six astronaut colleagues was successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS) on January 20th.
The Turkish Space Agency has announced that today is the day when the International Space Station, with Alper Gezeravcı aboard, will pass over Turkey. This means that it is finally time for Türkiye to witness this historic event.
Gezeravcı has extensively studied plant experiments in space, emphasizing their significance in helping us comprehend the endless beauty of Earth. Furthermore, these experiments also provide insights into how plants respond to challenging conditions resulting from climate change.
