Ambassador Korukoğlu Meets with Friendship Group Presidents on BRTK
The Ambassador of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, İsmet Korukoğlu, recently met with the Presidents of the Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Turkish Grand National Assembly of member countries. The purpose of this meeting was to enhance relations and foster cooperation with member countries of the Organization of Turkic States after the TRNC became an observer member of the organization.
In attendance were the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Friendship Group, Orhan Erdem, along with the Presidents of the Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Pakistan Friendship Groups. Discussions at the meeting revolved around developments and current issues following the TRNC’s observer status in the Organization of Turkic States.
