Ambassador’s Wife Visits Lapta Nursing Home
Sevim Çağla Serim, wife of Turkey’s Ambassador to Nicosia Yasin Ekrem Serim, recently paid a visit to Lapta Nursing Home, which is affiliated with the Social Services Department. The visit took place on October 1st, which is recognized as World Elderly Day. Serim was joined by Zeliş Gardiyanoğlu, the wife of the Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, as well as Social Services Department Director Alev Ecevit.
During her visit, Serim spent time chatting with the elderly residents at the nursing home and also took the opportunity to learn more about the facilities and services offered there. This visit highlights the importance of showing support and care for the elderly members of our community, especially on special occasions like World Elderly Day.
