Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu Addresses Water Shortage Issue in Gönyeli Yenikent
In a recent statement to BRT, Gönyeli Alayköy Mayor Hüseyin Amcaoğlu discussed the ongoing water shortage in the western part of Gönyeli Yenikent region. Amcaoğlu emphasized that the issue of water scarcity is not limited to Gönyeli but is a problem in many other areas as well. He assured residents that efforts are being made to ensure that water reaches every household.
Currently, water is being transported to higher areas where the regular supply cannot reach, using tankers. Amcaoğlu expressed confidence that the water shortage situation will improve soon, possibly by tomorrow. In the meantime, he urged the community to use water responsibly, limiting its use to essential needs only.
The Mayor extended his gratitude to the municipal teams for their hard work in addressing the issue and to the business community for their logistical support. With a collaborative effort, Amcaoğlu is hopeful that the water shortage problem will be resolved promptly.
