Ankara Elections to Elect 36 Deputies Holds Great Importance for Parties and Presidential Candidates
The upcoming May 14, 2023, vote rates in Ankara are said to be of great importance to the parties and presidential candidates as the city is one of the metropolitan regions with a large number of voters and will also affect the general rates with the election results. The province has three electoral districts with a total of 36 deputies that will significantly impact the election results. These districts include Akyurt, Altindag, Ayas, Bala, Beypazari, Camlidere, Cankaya, Çubuk, Elmadag, Etimesgut, Evren, Golbasi, Gudul, Haymana, Kahramankazan, Kalecik, Kecioren, Kizilcahamam, Mamak, Nallihan, Polatli, Pursaklar, Sincan, Sereflikoçhisar, and Yenimahalle.
On May 14, voting will end at 17.00, and it will be forbidden to make news predictions and comments on the elections and their results until 18.00, according to the election bans rules published in the Official Gazette by YSK. Between 18.00 and 21.00, news and communiqués regarding the election will be given only by YSK. After 21:00, all broadcasts will be free, and YSK will be able to set this time earlier. The official announcement of the Ankara election results will begin on Sunday, May 14, at the latest after 21.00.

The ruling party, AK Party, has announced its candidates for the 36 deputies that Ankara will elect. In the 1st region, the candidate list includes Yildirim Tugrul Turkes, Julide Sarioglu, Murat Alparslan, Zehranur Aydemir, Mustafa Hasgul, Ebru Kurban Yaldiz, Muhammed Abdullah Ozer, Osman Karaaslan, Hasan Ercelebi, Eyup Gokhan Ozekin, Writer Sinem Ersoy, Ilhami Teke, and Muhammet Tarik Kurukcu. In the 2nd region, the candidate list includes Vedat Bilgin, Lutfiye Selva Pine, Orhan Yegin, Zeynep Yildiz
