Ankara Governorship Warns of Strong Showers and Thunderstorms

In Yenimahalle, central Ankara buildings turned into makeshift waterfalls as excess rainwater accumulated and flowed over them. Shocking images of this phenomenon were shared on social media, leaving many astonished at the extent of the flooding.
Meanwhile, in Şanlıurfa, the lifeless body of a man named Davut, who had been lost in a flood, was tragically found 10 days later. The devastating consequences of natural disasters like these serve as a reminder of the importance of being prepared for extreme weather events.
