32 Suspects Detained in Cyber Crime Operation

A recent operation carried out by the Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Cyber Crime Branch teams in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, and Konya resulted in the detainment of 32 suspects involved in illegal activities. The procedures for these suspects at the police station have now been completed.

Following the operation on December 20, one of the suspects was released as per the prosecutor’s instructions, while the remaining suspects were referred to the courthouse. Out of the group, 26 suspects were arrested and 5 were released under judicial control.

The investigation conducted by the Anti-Cyber Crime Branch teams targeted individuals involved in placing illegal bets. Through technical and physical tracking, the identities of the 32 suspects were identified, leading to a simultaneous operation at various addresses in Adana, Ankara, Antalya, and Konya.
