Applications Open for Labor Adaptation Program (İUP) by İŞKUR: Steps on Applying for İUP – Latest Updates from Turkey

ISKUR collaborates with Ministry of National Education for Inclusive Employment Program

The Inclusive Employment Program (IUP), initiated by ISKUR to enhance the workforce participation of individuals with disabilities, young people, women, ex-convicts, and long-term unemployed citizens, has announced a collaboration with the Ministry of National Education for its first project.

Applications for the IUP can be submitted through various channels such as ISKUR e-branch, Alo170, provincial directorates of labor, employment institutions, and ISKUR service centers. The program aims to provide opportunities for 120 thousand individuals across 81 provinces, with the collaboration with the Ministry of National Education, and the application deadline is September 8.

The IUP is designed to equip unemployed individuals, especially those in need of special policies, with the necessary knowledge, skills, work ethic, and discipline to increase their employability. Applicants must be citizens of the Republic of Turkey, over 18 years of age, registered with ISKUR, not retired, and without insurance coverage for the last month.

The program will run part-time for a maximum of 10 months, with the first 4 weeks consisting of intensive training for 37.5 hours per week (5 days), followed by 22.5 hours per week (3 days) for the remaining duration. Short-term insurance premiums for participants will be covered, with a maximum benefit period of 140 actual days.

Participants are allowed to seek employment outside of the IUP program. This initiative aims to create a more inclusive and diverse workforce, providing opportunities for those facing barriers to employment.
