The TEKNOFEST festival, known for its focus on technology and innovation, has opened the application process for participation in its upcoming event. This festival is expected to draw significant interest from individuals and teams in the tech industry.
TEKNOFEST will feature various competitions including the Robolig Blue Homeland competition, a drone championship, and the newly introduced HackMasters Blue Homeland competition. This year, the festival will take place in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, providing participants with the opportunity to showcase and develop their projects. A total of 2.5 million Turkish liras will be awarded to winning teams, with an additional 3 million Turkish liras in financial support.
The competitions at TEKNOFEST-2025 will encourage the development of innovative solutions across different technology sectors. For instance, the technology competition in the tourism sector will focus on creating new solutions to explore the cultural heritage and tourism potential of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The social innovation competition will highlight technology-driven approaches to addressing social issues, while the research project competition will seek innovative solutions in agriculture, environment, and energy.
Other competitions at TEKNOFEST include the flying car modeling competition for aviation enthusiasts, the Drone Championship TRNC Stage for drone-related projects, and the Robolig – Blue Homeland competition for robotics and programming skills. The HackMasters Blue Homeland competition will also provide a platform for showcasing talents in cybersecurity.
