April 23: A Symbol of Democracy and Sovereignty
Erhan Arıklı, Chairman of the government supporter Rebirth Party and Minister of Public Works and Transport, has shared a heartfelt message in honor of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. Recalling Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s famous words, ‘Children! Here is your holiday, your joy, your future!’ Arıklı underscored the importance of nurturing and empowering children as the architects of tomorrow and the guardians of our heritage. He stressed the need for upholding children’s rights, providing equal educational opportunities, and fostering a sense of patriotism and critical thinking in the younger generation.
