Arıklı at IRF World Congress 2024 – BRTK
Minister of Public Works and Transport, Erhan Arıklı, recently participated in the World Congress 2024 organized by the World Road Federation (IRF), which was hosted by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey.
The Ministry of Public Works and Transport revealed that the IRF World Congress 2024 commenced in Istanbul with an opening speech by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, delivered via video conference. The congress, themed “Connecting to Empower Mobility: Roads as Enablers of a Sustainable Future for All,” will continue until October 18.
With a history dating back to 1948, the IRF aims to bring together key players in the sector, public institutions, and private organizations to focus on the development of roads and road networks that promote sustainable mobility. This year’s congress in Istanbul is a testament to the ongoing commitment towards creating a more sustainable and efficient transportation system for the future.
