Minister Erhan Arıklı: Expenses of Delegation to Azerbaijan Not Covered by State Budget
In a recent announcement, Minister of Public Works and Transport, Erhan Arıklı, revealed that the expenses of the delegation sent to Azerbaijan were not covered by the state budget. During an interview on BRT’s program ‘Saat’, Minister Arıklı mentioned that all members of the delegation funded their own expenses for the trip.
According to Arıklı, each member of the delegation was given 850 dollars to cover their expenses. These funds were contributed by businessmen and various non-governmental organizations. The Minister emphasized that no money was taken from the state budget for this purpose.
Furthermore, Minister Arıklı clarified that the expenses for the private plane used by the delegation were also covered by these non-governmental organizations.
The delegation’s visit to Azerbaijan holds significant importance in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
