ARUCAD Students Organize Event for SOS Children’s Village
Students from the Faculty of Communication at Arkın Creative Arts and Design University (ARUCAD) recently organized an event for the benefit of SOS Children’s Village as part of the “Kindness as Snowball Project”. The event, held at Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel Municipality Social Facilities, provided children with a day of fun and entertainment.
The proceeds from ticket sales at the event will be used to support SOS Children’s Village. Nuran Öze, a Faculty Member and Project Manager at ARUCAD, explained that the Kindness as Snowball Project was part of a creative presentation course. The project aimed to give the children at SOS Children’s Village a special day, raise funds for their benefit, and increase social awareness in society.
SOS Children’s Village National Director, Ahmet Akarsu, praised the students for their important social project and emphasized that the event’s income will directly support SOS Children’s Village. He also expressed gratitude to all the sponsors and contributors who made the event possible.
The event featured various activities for children, including games, competitions, wish trees, face painting, live DJ performances, ceramic painting, and treasure hunts. It was a memorable day for the children and their families to enjoy quality time together.
Overall, the event organized by ARUCAD students was a success, benefiting both SOS Children’s Village and the community at large.
