Today, on August 30th, Victory Day, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus will be commemorating the 102nd anniversary of a significant triumph in Turkish history. The official parade on Dr. Fazıl Küçük Boulevard will commence at 10:00, featuring the national anthem, the inspection of ceremonial units, public holiday celebrations, and a speech by an officer on behalf of the Cyprus Turkish Peace Forces Command. The ceremony will conclude with a speech by President Ersin Tatar and the official parade.

In addition to Nicosia, August 30 Victory Day will be commemorated with ceremonies in Gazimağusa, Kyrenia, Güzelyurt, İskele, and Lefke as well as in other districts. This day serves as a reminder of the resilience and determination of the Turkish people in the face of adversity, showcasing the unity and strength of the nation.
