Aydin Forest Fire: Combating with Air and Land Intervention
A forest fire broke out in the rural Gümüşköy Neighborhood of Germencik, near Aydın, and quickly spread into the forest due to strong winds. The fire, which started in the scrubland for unknown reasons around 14:30, prompted a quick response from authorities.
Upon receiving the report, water trucks from the Aydın Forest Management Directorate rushed to the scene, accompanied by a helicopter for aerial assistance. Firefighters were also dispatched to the area to help contain the flames. Both air and land intervention efforts are currently in progress to bring the fire under control.
