Famagusta Municipality Holds Information Meeting About “Ayluga Wildlife Park” Project
An information meeting was recently held in Famagusta Municipality to discuss the “Ayluga Wildlife Park” project, which is a collaborative effort between the municipality, Eastern Mediterranean University, and Famagusta Women’s Research Center.
During the meeting, presentations were made to highlight the purpose and importance of the project. Famagusta Mayor Süleyman Uluçay emphasized the significance of the city’s wetlands and their importance to the country.
Mayor Uluçay stressed the municipality’s commitment to preserving the rich wetlands for future generations. He expressed the municipality’s determination to take concrete steps to rehabilitate Çanakkale and Gülseren Ponds, ensuring their continuation without damaging their natural structure.
In addition, Famagusta Municipality Project, Zoning, Public Works Unit Chief Abide Başman Eryaşar provided insight into the work that has been initiated to secure the continuity of the ponds to the city.
Stakeholders supporting the project also made presentations during the meeting, providing statistical information and further outlining the purpose and importance of the “Ayluga Wildlife Park” project.
