Azerbaijan Army Commemorates Tovuz Battles Anniversary with a Series of Events
Azerbaijan Army Honors the Memory of Tovuz Battle Martyrs on 3rd Anniversary
Baku, July 14 – The Azerbaijan Defense Minister has instructed a series of events to be held in commemoration of the 3rd anniversary of the Tovuz battles in the Army Corps, formations, military units, and special educational institutions of the Azerbaijan Army. The Ministry of Defense informed AZERTAC about the successful execution of these events.
In honor of the fallen heroes who lost their lives in the Tovuz battles and the fights for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, officials from the Defense Ministry, regional executive powers, Shehids (Martyrs) families, ghazis, servicemen, war participants, and representatives from the public and media visited the Alleys of Shehids (Martyrs). They paid their respects and remembered the brave sons of their Motherland.
Furthermore, various activities were organized as part of the commemoration events. Socio-political training classes, round table discussions, and conferences were conducted. Additionally, military units showcased documentary and feature films to educate and inform the servicemen about the sacrifices made by their comrades.
The servicemen also had the opportunity to meet with the families and relatives of the Shehids (Martyrs), expressing their condolences and inquiring about any concerns or needs they might have.
These events serve as a reminder of the bravery and sacrifice exhibited by the Azerbaijani soldiers during the Tovuz battles. The nation stands united in paying tribute to these heroes and upholding the values of honor and integrity.
