Azerbaijan Cuts Costs by Decreasing Cement Imports from Turkey
Azerbaijan’s imports of cement, glass, ceramics, and earthenware from Turkey decreased by 17.6% in January-February 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly.
During the first two months of 2025, Azerbaijan imported these construction materials and household goods worth $6.8 million from its neighboring country. This decline in imports could be attributed to various factors such as changes in demand, market conditions, or other economic dynamics.
