Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bayramov Emphasizes Strong Brotherhood Relations with TRNC
During the Antalya Diplomasi Forum (ADF) held at the Nest Congress Center in Belek Tourism Region, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov discussed the close ties between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). In an interview with the Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent, Bayramov highlighted the warm and strict brotherhood relations between the two countries.
Bayramov mentioned President Ersin Tatar’s recent visit to Azerbaijan and the establishment of an inter-parliamentary friendship group between the two nations. He also noted that the TRNC has been granted observer member status in the Turkish States Organization (TDT), further strengthening the relationship between Azerbaijan and the TRNC.
Regarding the Cyprus issue, Bayramov stated that Azerbaijan will continue to support the activities of the TRNC within the TDT framework. He emphasized the importance of finding a solution that ensures equal rights for both the TRNC and the Greek Cypriot part of Cyprus. Bayramov assured that Azerbaijan stands ready to support the TRNC in addressing this issue.
As Azerbaijan and the TRNC continue to foster their strong ties, Bayramov’s remarks highlight the commitment of both countries to promoting cooperation and solidarity in the region.
