Azerbaijani Soldiers Show Support for National Team at MSB Event
The Ministry of National Defense recently shared a message on social media from Azerbaijan expressing full support for the children of Turkey. The message included gratitude to Azerbaijan and praised the soldiers of Karabakh, stating “Thank you dear Azerbaijan, thank you lions of Karabakh… We are always one and together.”
Azerbaijani soldiers were seen in shared images watching the Turkey-Czechia match with excitement. They were particularly thrilled by Turkey’s victory goal in the last minutes of the match, which led to a 2-1 win for Turkey over the Czech Republic in the European Championship held in Germany. This victory secured Turkey’s place in the last 16 of the tournament.
The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Numan Kurtulmuş, also congratulated the National Football Team on their success. In a social media post, Kurtulmuş shared a photo of the team and expressed his congratulations by saying, “Congratulations, our boys.”
The support and celebration from Azerbaijan, as well as the congratulatory messages from Turkish officials, showcase the unity and camaraderie shared between the two countries during sports events like the European Championship.
