A 4.7 magnitude earthquake hit the Sulusaray district, according to information from the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) website. The earthquake occurred at 01:06 local time and was felt in surrounding provinces as well. It was recorded at a depth of 9.97 kilometers.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Ali Yerlikaya, reassured the public on social media that field scans were ongoing following the earthquake. He stated that there were no negative situations reported at the moment, and they were closely monitoring the situation. Yerlikaya expressed his well wishes for those affected by the earthquake and prayed for the country’s safety.

AFAD also confirmed that there were no negative developments at the moment after the 4.7 magnitude earthquake. They emphasized that field scanning efforts were continuing and wished those affected a speedy recovery.
