Balam Confectionery Company Receives High Praise at Moscow Exhibition
Turkmen Confectioner Balam Shines at International Food Expo
The confectionery company from Turkmenistan “Balam” recently participated in the 31st international exhibition of food, drinks, and raw materials for their production “Prodexpo-2024” in Moscow from February 5 to 9, 2024.
Five products of the Balam company were awarded gold medals at the “Best Product 2024” competition, which was held as part of the exhibition. These products included two types of sesame cookies “Zaman” – classic and cocoa-flavored, a croissant with cream chocolate filling, puff cookies “Ýürek” with vanilla flavor, and puff cookies “Balam” with vanilla filling.
Established in 2016 in Ashgabat, Balam has quickly become one of the top confectionery enterprises in Turkmenistan. What began as a small workshop for the production of bakery and confectionery products has grown into a large production enterprise capable of producing 2.5 thousand tons of products per month.
The company offers a wide assortment of products, including puff pastry, shortcrust pastry, baked goods, a variety of pastries, cakes, and oriental sweets. The company also regularly updates its list of products with new offerings.
All products are manufactured using high-quality equipment from the world-famous Swiss company RONDO and meet all safety requirements. The company successfully passed laboratory certification in 2016 and received a certificate of compliance with the requirements.
