İnönü Martyrs were commemorated with a ceremony.

The ceremony for 11 İnönülü, who was martyred in 1958-1963 and 1974, started with the place of wreaths in the Martyrs’ Memorial.

President Ersin Tatar also recalled that many Turkish Cypriots were martyred on his way to win his bread before 1974 and made systematic attacks to destroy the Turkish Cypriot Turkish Cypriots.

Expressing that the Turkish Cypriot people defend the heroic country and people of the Turkish people, Tatar said, “We owe all of these to our martyrs while taking our rightful place in the world with the support of the 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation and the support of Türkiye.

Tatar said, “The Turkish Cypriot people have the right in these lands as much as the Greeks.
Stating that he will share these facts in New York, Tatar said that a people who paid so much had the right to sovereignty and recognition.

Emphasizing that there are two separate people and states in Cyprus, Tatar said that if there is an agreement, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus would be a part of that agreement.

The ceremony ended with the reading of prayers.
