The Council of Ministers declared 96 villages across the country as drought-damaged villages and regions in the 2023-24 grain production year.
The list includes 37 villages from Nicosia district, 21 villages from Famagusta district, 9 villages from Kyrenia district, 16 villages from Güzelyurt district and 13 villages from Lefke district.
In Iskele district, there are no villages damaged by drought.
