Stating that they want to share their knowledge under the chairmanship of TOKİ, which has undertaken many projects in the fields of social housing and urban transformation, with the people of Cyprus, Murat Kurum said that they will sign an important protocol that will enable this, at this ceremony.
The institution also stated that they will implement a system that will increase the recruitment speed of citizens by digitalizing the land registry and cadastre processes.
The institution said, “We will be implementing a cooperation protocol that will establish a Geographic Information System in Cyprus for the improvement of public services and the effective management of natural resources. “Thanks to the National Geographic Data infrastructure we will develop, public institutions will be able to make more accurate and faster decisions,” he said.
Stating that the whole world is seriously affected by the first change, Minister Kurum noted that they will support the TRNC on environment and climate change.
The institution said, “There is a storage problem of domestic waste throughout Cyprus. We are conducting a study on this. “We have brought our work to the final stage by working together with our union of municipalities, our relevant ministry and our embassy to implement a system in which the garbage will be transported to the landfill together with the regular landfills and the income obtained from this will be presented to the people of Cyprus,” he said.
Stating that they will sign the protocol to implement the zero waste project in TRNC, the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkey said, “We have provided all kinds of support from the past to the TRNC, which actually stands on its own feet, produces and develops with all these projects, and we will continue to do so.”
Minister Kurum said, “As stated by our President, as Türkiye, we will continue to share our bread and our food with our Cypriot brothers.”
