Turkey’s Ambassador to Nicosia, Yasin Ekrem Serim, met with the Deputy Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey, Sezai Uçarmak, who was in TRNC within the scope of the 1st Meeting of the Turkey-TRNC Joint Customs Committee.
Sharing the meeting on his social media account, Serim said, “In order to support TRNC’s production-based economic development goal, we discussed the business plan, including the automation and modernization of customs and the accreditation of the laboratory, the project of which has been started.”
Serim also said, “We continue to work with the TRNC authorities to further increase the trade between Turkey and TRNC and to ensure rapid access of Turkish Cypriot producers to international markets.”
