An event is being held at Gülseren Pond in Famagusta on Saturday for “World Migratory Bird Day”.
At the event, which will be organized by five organizations and formations that carry out environmental activities and will start at 07.00, Environmental Education and Management Specialist Dr. Asuman Korukoğlu and Environmental Education and Management Specialist Landscape Architect Dr. Gülizar Eroğlu will make a presentation about the meaning and importance of the day.
Afterwards, there will be a “Famagusta wetlands tour”.
The joint event organized by the Always Friends of Nature Group, Cyprus Wetland Society, Chamber of Landscape Architects, Karpaz Friends Association and Social Existence Association on the occasion of “World Migratory Birds Day” will take place at Gülseren Pond between 07.00-08.00.
In his statement on behalf of the organizing committee, Yusuf Şentuğ asked the participants to park their cars quietly away from the wetland and to bring binoculars and cameras if they have them.
