The 47th anniversary of the Security Forces Command (GKK), the 65th anniversary of the Turkish Resistance Organization (TMT) and the 452nd anniversary of the conquest of Cyprus will be celebrated with ceremonies and events.
According to the statement made by the GKK, all martyrdoms in the TRNC will be open to the public from today until August 1, due to the 1st August Social Resistance Day.
The 16 km resistance road race, which will start on Tuesday, August 1 at 07:00 in Güv.K.Kh.- Boğazköy, will be completed in front of the Cyprus TMT Mujahideen Association. The awards will be given to the top athletes at 10:15 at the TMT Mujahideen Association.
A ceremony will be held at 09.30 at Atatürk monuments in Nicosia and all district centers.
A wreath laying ceremony will be held at the Nicosia Martyrs’ Monument at 10:00 and at the Cumhuriyet Park Monument at 12:00.
The establishment anniversary reception of the Security Forces Command will take place at 19.30 in the garden of the command headquarters.
