The Cultural Heritage Technical Committee completed the protection activities in the Latin’s Aziz George Church and Tuzla Mosque.

According to the information received by the Turkish Cypriot Co -Chairman Ali Tuncay, the Turkish Cypriot Technical Committee of the Tak correspondent, the Conservation of the Latins in Famagusta and the Protection works in the Tuzla Mosque in Larnaka were concluded.

Within the framework of the completion of the protection works in both works, activities were organized in the place where the works are located. Tuncay stated that the structural strengthening and preservation of wall paintings in Tuzla Mosque, and in the Church of Aziz George, stone workmanship and roof insulation repairs were carried out and that the restoration process started in September 2024 and successfully completed in June 2025.
