A digital transformation cooperation protocol covering the communication infrastructure of smart water management and city security systems was signed between Değirmenlik Akıncılar Municipality and Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell.
According to the statement made by the municipality, within the scope of the protocol signed by Değirmenlik Akıncılar Mayor Ali Karavezirler and Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell General Manager Murat Küçüközdemir, the communication infrastructure of prepaid smart water meters and city security camera systems used within the municipal borders will be provided by Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell.
With the cooperation, citizens will be able to perform water loading operations faster and safer via digital platforms, and consumption data obtained from smart water meters will be instantly transferred to the center thanks to GSM-GPRS connections.
Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell’s M2M solutions will be used in camera infrastructures used in city security systems. Security services will be carried out more effectively thanks to the uninterrupted transfer of images to the security center.
