Republican Assembly Economy, Finance, Budget and Plan Committee, today the Committee President Official Eroğlu Canaltay was gathered. At the meeting, two laws were approved and referred to the General Assembly.
According to a statement made by the Parliament of the Republic, the committee first discussed the Draft Law (YT No: 267/4/2025) and completed its second meeting. The Committee will continue her work on the draft law at its next meeting.
Inviated to the committee meeting, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Public Works and Transportation, General Directorate of Police, Prime Ministry and Turkish Cypriot Union of the Union of Turkish Cypriot officials participated and presented their opinions to the committee.
The Committee later met the Draft Customs and Property (Amendment) Draft (YT No: 301/4/2025), approved the majority of votes and referred to the agenda of the General Assembly.
Authorities from the Ministry of Finance and the Customs and Rüsumat Department participated in the committee meeting and shared their opinions on the subject.
Finally, the Committee approved the “Public Financial Management and Control Draft Law (YT No: 239/4/2024), approved by the majority of votes and referred to the General Assembly.
