Çavuşoğlu, who asked the teachers to explain what he saw here as they knew Cyprus when they came, reminded that the first teachers began to come to Cyprus in 1942.
Çavuşoğlu stated that he stayed in the same apartment as teachers from Türkiye during his teaching years and still met, “You came here like an ambassador, and now we want you to go to the geography of the Republic of Turkey as our ambassador.” he said.
Çavuşoğlu expressed his satisfaction with the professional contributions of the teachers and said, “There are surely Turkish Cypriot people who leave a mark in your life, or you have left their mark in their lives. You will be our biggest advertisement.” He said.
Çavuşoğlu stated that the Turkish Cypriot people have standing upright in the lands where they live in the lands where they live their language, religion and culture for 450 years. he said.

At the event, Salim Yurdakan, who made the opening speech on behalf of the teachers, said, “We witnessed our children who shared the same fate, speak the same language and have a past, and our children to march to the bright future of our children together.” he said.
Yurdakan, TRNC, the friendships, traditions, culture, historical places, unforgettable homeland defenses and the brotherhood between the two countries, emphasizing that they take with them, “We hope that our roads will never leave, in different geographies, in line with the same principle and target, we will continue to walk in the same way.” He said.
