A march was held in Nicosia within the scope of Fire Brigade Week between 25 September and 1 October.
The march held this evening on Mehmet Akif Street, also known as Dereboyu, was attended by Parliament Speaker Zorlu Töre, Police General Director Kasım Kuni, Deputy PGM Ahmet Beşerler, PGM II. Deputy Zafer Zaifer, Fire Chief Ramadan Gürpınar, district police chiefs and PGM department managers, firefighters, their families and retired firefighters attended.

On Friday, the last day of the events, the graves of the Champion Angels will be visited and the money collected from the fire department personnel on a voluntary basis will be presented to the officials of the Association for the Survival of the Champion Angels.
