In this week’s food inspections of the Department of Agriculture, all imported products came out clean. In domestic products, over the limit crop protection product was detected in sultani grapes from two different producers, and the harvest of the products was stopped.
According to the statement of the Department of Agriculture, all 49 imported product samples were found to be clean in the analyzes carried out at the State Laboratory during the period of 11-17 August, and no plant protection product above the limit was found in any product.
In domestic products, 15 samples were analyzed and while 13 of them were clean, over-limit plant protection product was detected in 2 products.
Harvesting of sultani grapes from Yeşilyurt, belonging to Bülent Sakık and Hüseyin Özyüksel, was stopped until the next laboratory analysis, as an over-the-limit crop protection product was detected.
