Alithia newspaper published in Southern Cyprus reported the statement made by the Greek Cypriot Administration leader Hristodulidis, who had a quick meeting with President Tatar at the year-end reception hosted by the UN Secretary General’s Special Representative for Cyprus and UN Peace Force Mission Chief Colin Stewart, after the reception.
According to the newspaper, Hristodulidis said that when journalists asked Tatar what he said after the reception, he said that he was ready to meet even tomorrow to discuss the opening of new crossing gates, as he said before the reception.
