Famous Anatolian Rock artist Haluk Levent gave a concert at the Amphitheater last night as part of “Girne Arkın Group Fest 23”.

According to the statement made by Kyrenia Municipality, more than 5 thousand music lovers attended the concert, where Şirin and Grup SOS took the stage before Haluk Levent.

At the concert, Haluk Levent sang classic Cypriot works such as “Dillirga” and “I Couldn’t Cross the Bridge”, as well as his own songs.

Haluk Levent invited the Association for the Survival of Champion Angels to the stage at the concert and said, “The money you spent in this concert became a 1-year education scholarship for 105 of our children,” and gave the microphone to Ruşen Karakaya, President of the Association for the Survival of Champion Angels.

Ruşen Karakaya, President of the Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association, spoke as follows:

“In the earthquake that occurred in Adıyaman on February 6, 2023, we lost parts of our lives and our loved ones when the building built for the sake of profit and money collapsed in 10 seconds. Our Champion Angels are with us today, watching over us, they give strength to us, to you, to all of us. We came together as families and founded the Champion Angels Survival Association. Our aim is to ensure justice for our children, parents and teachers together. We scream ‘justice’ on social media every night, please support us in our cause for justice. We will ensure justice by saying ‘Isias is our common cause’ and they will be proud of us because no other children will die.

Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association will work only for this purpose, for the future and education of our children that are taken away from them. With our first goal, we started to give scholarships to 70 children. Tonight, with this concert, we will give scholarships to 105 more children with the support of Haluk Levent and his team, because it was ignorance that brought us and Turkey to this situation, we need to put an end to this. Every child has the right to education and we will work until the end for this. Champion Angels Keeping Alive Association will survive with you and the whole society, that’s why we will be the largest association in Cyprus and we will strive for education until the end. “I would like to thank Haluk Levent and his team again and all the people of Cyprus who came here and supported us, champions never die.”
