The Turkish Cypriot Secondary Education Teachers’ Union (KTOEÖS) made a written statement and criticized the government.

In the statement, which claimed that the “full-day” education program, which was claimed to have been prepared without any preparation or organization, created conditions in which students would be victimized, starved and experienced a security risk, it was stated that an action would be taken not to attend classes in the afternoons on a school basis in the schools to be announced every day.

In the statement, the names of 19 schools where there will be a class action on Monday, October 2nd in the afternoon were also announced.
