Lefke Museum Museum, which is located in the historical building known as Vasıf Palas in Lefke Bazaar Center and brought to the region by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, was opened with a ceremony.

The opening speech of the ceremony was made by Emine Ziba, Director of the Department of Antiquities and Museums.

Lefke Mayor Aziz Kaya explained that various project works have been carried out since 2014 in order to bring Lefke a museum and expressed his pleasure to bring such a museum to the lefke.

Deputy Prime Minister, Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Minister Fikri Ataoğlu said that they are working with the aim of spreading tourism to 12 months throughout the island and bringing a museum to each district, and that they have reached the target of the museum in all districts with this museum.

Ataoğlu noted that they are working in cooperation with the people of the region, non -governmental organizations and local government in order to gain a museum to Lefke and emphasized that the museum will be the stop point of tourists coming to Lefke and that tourists will be intertwined with Lefke tradesmen.
