According to a statement from the municipality yesterday, the festival held at Cihangir Stadium, began with a march of cortege.
The event took part in various stage performances and kite activity was held. At the festival, the municipality’s Özle Türkel Social Activity Center took the stage.
The festival, President of the Republican Turkish Party Tufan Erhürman and his wife Nilden Bektaş Erhürman, CTP Deputy Sami Özuslu, Değirmenlik Akıncılar Municipality Mayor Ali Karavezirler and his wife Mürvet Karavezirler also attended.
In his speech at the event, Erhürman said, “We will create a country that our children will never want to leave or want to emigrate.” He said.
