According to the statement made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Minister Oğuz, in his speech at the reception, expressed his happiness with the visit of the Mukhtars Association, reminded that the headmen, who are closely interested in the problems of the village and neighborhood residents, serve as a bridge between citizens and official institutions, and emphasized the importance of headmen’s offices.

Minister Oğuz underlined that they are aware of the problems that have existed for years and that care will be taken to work in consultation and cooperation with the headmen. Oğuz said that they will work to fulfill their duties as the ministry so that the headmen can provide better service.

Darbaz requested that a study should be initiated to launch the ALO Mukhtar Information Line, which is the product of the age at the point of public service of muhtars and to ensure the rapid flow of information between muhtars. Darbaz also stated that they are ready to work voluntarily in the preparation of the Mukhtars Law.
