President Ersin Tatar attended the reception hosted by the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye in Warsaw, Rauf Alp Denktaş.

“No matter where we are in the world, our hearts beat together,” said President Tatar and continued his words as follows:

“I also met with our business people in cities such as London, Sydney, Melbourne, New York and Berlin. “Your unity and success in different sectors are the strength of not only the Republic of Türkiye but also the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.”

President Tatar said, “I invite all of you to visit TRNC and consider investing in our country, which has provided significant developments in the tourism, higher education, construction and agriculture sectors. “Despite the unfair and inhumane isolation imposed on us, we have made great strides in these areas,” he said.

Emphasizing that he offers a two-state solution proposal for a realistic and sustainable solution in Cyprus, President Tatar said, “This vision is also supported by the Republic of Türkiye. “Negotiations on a federal basis, which have been carried out for more than 50 years, are now exhausted,” he said.

President Tatar underlined the importance of the call made by the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his speeches at the 77th, 78th and 79th General Assembly meetings of the United Nations, for the world states to officially recognize the TRNC and to end the isolation imposed on the Turkish Cypriot people. .
