President Ersin Tatar watched the “Winds of Rotary” concert held at the Girne Amphitheater as part of the 60th anniversary of BRT.

In the concert where Turgay Hilmi was the producer and conductor of the organization; Symphonic Wind Orchestra Georgensmünd, German Rotary Choir, Vox Africa Choir, soloist Observation Özdeğirmenci, Eser Öktem, Zübeyde Yıldız and Nice Kabeya took the stage.

In his speech at the concert, President Ersin Tatar thanked the TRNC Honorary Consul in Germany and the producer of the organization Turgay Hilmi for his contributions to the country’s art and promotion, and all the artists who took part in the concert.

Expressing his happiness to host international artists in the country, President Tatar drew attention to the importance of including artists from abroad as well as the country’s artists.

President Tatar said that despite the political embargoes, the TRNC hosted many foreign artists and many successful Turkish Cypriot artists performed abroad and represented their country.

Explaining that the concert was organized for the benefit of SOS Children’s Village and the Cyprus Turkish Orthopedically Disabled Association, President Tatar emphasized the importance of the solidarity shown by the people and non-governmental organizations.
