President Ersin Tatar made a statement about what was reflected in the Greek press after the visit of the Greek Cypriot Leader Nikos Christodoulidis to the Anthropology Laboratory of the Missing Persons Committee (KŞK).

An official negotiation process cannot be started without the confirmation of sovereign equality and equal international status, which is the simplest requirement of the acquired rights of the Turkish Cypriot Party.
The new policy and vision we have put forward for a sustainable and fair solution to the Cyprus issue is a realistic approach that should be taken into account not only for the benefit of the two Parties on the Island of Cyprus, but also for regional and global stability.

All the suggestions we have made so far, especially our 6 proposals for cooperation, which we prepared with a win-win philosophy that will contribute to both the Cyprus Island and the stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region and conveyed to the Greek side by the UN Secretary General, are the most clear and concrete indications of our goodwill.
The Turkish Cypriot side has the will and determination to continue to strive for the development of good neighborly relations by taking concrete steps to establish institutional cooperation that will benefit both sides, especially in all humanitarian issues, as it was yesterday.
