Today, we are aware of our responsibility to protect the legacy of Bülent Ecevit and to continue the just cause of the Turkish Cypriot people. “The unshakable bond between us and our homeland Turkey is getting stronger today with the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity. While I commemorate Ecevit once again, I would like to express that his fighting spirit will live forever in the struggle for existence of the Turkish Cypriot people.”
