UBP Chairman and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel came together with the people of Dikmen, Taşkent and Güngör at UBP Dikmen Club, with the organization of UBP Kyrenia District Presidency.

Üstel was accompanied by his wife Zerrin Üstel, UBP Secretary General Oğuzhan Hasipoğlu, Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova, Minister of Labor and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu, Kyrenia District Chairman Bülent Kutay and party members.

UBP Dikmen Organization President Mehmet Özsezer said, “Our esteemed Chairman and Prime Minister have taken important actions for our region and provided significant support. Investments have been made in our roads and improvements have been made in cutting lands. “We thank him,” he said.

Girne District Chairman Bülent Kutay also said that the government headed by Chairman and Prime Minister Üstel continues its work for the benefit of the country with determination.

Kutay said, “We fully support the work of our President with our party base and organization.”

Minister of Finance Özdemir Berova also said that Üstel has a special sensitivity towards Dikmen and its surroundings and that he gave the necessary instructions to increase investments in the region.

Stating that the law to regulate the salaries of those who enter the public sector in accordance with Law No. 47/2010 will come into force in October, Berova stated that all efforts are continuing to keep the financial structure strong and to preserve purchasing power.
Berova stated that the law required to pay the cost of living three times a year in 2024 is about to expire.

Explaining the government’s work on the economy, Üstel stated that they are continuing to work to eliminate the salary grievances of those entering the public sector with the law no. 47/2010, which the opposition calls the immigration law.

Noting that they will continue to strictly implement the cost of living increases according to DPÖ data, Prime Minister Üstel said, “While turning the wheels of the economy, we have made our plans for 2024 so that our people can spend the year 2024 more comfortably, more peacefully, and be much less affected by the cost of living.”

Emphasizing an agreement based on sovereign equality, Üstel stated that they support the solution efforts based on sovereign equality, which President Ersin Tatar also brought up during his New York contacts.
Noting that they started working to promote the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in social, political, economic and cultural aspects, Prime Minister Üstel stated that after becoming an observer member of the Organization of Turkish States, 3 ministers have waved the flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the events they attended in the last 2 months and said, “Our government’s “The way is to prepare our country for the world,” he said.
