“In the meetings attended by the Deputy Prime Minister, representatives of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment and the experts who prepared the Tourism Master Plan, alternative tourism approaches and sustainable development strategies that would highlight the natural, cultural and economic riches of the regions were evaluated.
In these meetings, which take place with the participation of municipalities, headmen and relevant non-governmental organizations, the integration of tourism projects into short, medium and long-term plans will be ensured in line with local opinions and suggestions.
At the meetings, local people, tourism industry representatives and non-governmental organizations come together and express their opinions. Participants have the opportunity to present suggestions to Ministry officials on local needs, tourism potential and sustainability.
