President of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council, Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan requested that THY’s discounts applied to health tourists going to Turkey should also be applied to tourists coming to TRNC.

In his statement regarding the Arab Travel Market Fair (ATM 2024) held in Dubai, Savaşan stated that they came together with industry representatives and health tourism representatives from many countries at the Northern Cyprus Stand and signed new agreements for sending health tourists to Northern Cyprus.

Ahmet Savaşan met with THY 2nd Region Sales President Mahmut Yayla, Middle East and Cyprus Sales Vice President Erol Şenol, Africa Sales Vice President Hikmet Mesut Türkseven, with whom he met within the scope of his Dubai contacts, to health tourists who will come to Northern Cyprus Ercan Airport from all routes where THY flies. He noted that the issue of applying special discounts when traveling to Turkey was also discussed.

Savaşan stated that within the scope of ATM 2024- Dubai fair, there were intense discussions with the participation of 200 speakers on current issues and future trends in the sector such as entrepreneurship, emerging markets, sustainability, artificial intelligence, NextGen destinations, travel technology and future trend predictions.
