President Ersin Tatar met with officials of the Polish Chamber of Tourism in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
Within the scope of his contacts in Poland, President Ersin Tatar met with the President of the Polish Chamber of Tourism, Pawel Niewiadomski, and the Secretary General of the Chamber of Tourism, Pawel Radolinski.
President Tatar stated that tourism is the fusion of cultures and people, and pointed out that our country, located in the Eastern Mediterranean, has a mild climate, rich cultural heritage and historical sites from past civilizations.
President Tatar said, “Tourism should not be confused with politics,” and added, “We want to see more Polish tourism travel agencies and businesses in Northern Cyprus, which has many places to visit.”
President Tatar stated that Polish tourists can travel to TRNC with a short transfer via Turkey and explained that approximately 50 flights a day are organized from Turkey’s cities such as Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya, Izmir and Adana to TRNC.
Polish tourism officials also thanked President Tatar for the meeting.
